20XX HACK PACK SKINS MANUAL
With this controller info window still displayed, holding the Z Button and pressing D-Pad directions (left/right for x-axis, up/down for y-axis) will allow manual adjustment of the controller origin values. The top line of this window now shows the current control stick x & y-axis calibration values (type = int8_t), which is the location of the control stick when the controller was plugged in or reset. Controller Origin Adjustment -> Introduced in v4.06 was the ability to press D-Pad Down at the CSS to display a window showing analog controller values.A few new features and changes made their way in during the development process as well.
20XX HACK PACK SKINS UPDATE
This update is mainly to address bugs in v4.06. "VERSION 4.07+" should now be seen on the main Debug Menu page, and on the Back Button texture in the Character Select Screen. Toggling 20XXTE Input Display would freeze the game.

I think playing 20XX tournaments would be awesome and add some excitement without changing or messing up anything we love about the game (believe me, I don't want anyone to ruin my precious melee either) This also would mean you don't need CRT's, kind of a big deal.Īlso in game toggles can be turned off to prevent someone turning on DI draw (sick new feature btw) or a save state, etc.

I think if I can play 20XX on my cheap laptop then tournaments can definitely get better machines running the hack pack, I think lag could be made not even a concern. The other problem with this proposal is: is the idea even feasible? Is lag too much of a fear? What about the hack packs other features? What do you guys think though? Don't mess with the meta, or go for some exciting changes? And what additional stages from 20XX do you think could be tournament legal? But also wall techs become more available and some opportunity for some sweet ledge and off stage fights, who doesn't love that? So would it be unfair to add that many stages with walls? Does it give some characters too much of an edge, would it mess with the meta of counterpicks too much? Personally I think it would be awesome but I love playing captain falcon who really benefits from walls, so I'm kind of biased. No hazards, all reminiscent of currently legal tournament stages, I think they could work.Ī lot of these stages have long walls on either side of the stage, aiding characters with wall jumps. They all are simple stages of one base platform and some with additional side and top platforms. The GameCube stage, mushroom kingdom adventure, adapted fourside, Pokémon kalos league, adapted green greens, frozen Pokémon stadium adapted yoshis island, and more. I love a lot of the additional stages and feel like a lot of them could be tournament legal and bring more diversity to the game. I love playing melee on the hack pack and love the newest one ( 4.06) and it brings a lot of cool features to the table.Īchilles 1515 is a true American hero btw.Īpplied to a tournament setting (so ignoring training features) cool skins and longer names and additional music (random vanilla or added music) could just be fun but then possibly the biggest thing could be stages.
